Brothers Kidnapped, Murdered, Bodies Dumped In The Trunk Of Their Car.
The spate of insecurity in the country and particularly the south east of nigeria took another sad dimension recently when two blood brothers were reportedly kidnapped, killed and bodies dumped in the trunk of their car.
The unfortunate incident has become another source of worry to many Nigerians, who believe that something should be done to reduce the level of insecurity in the country.
Family and friends of the victims have now been thrown into a deep sorrow and it is indeed a bitter pill for them to swallow.
Report of the incident was seen in a post by one Dr. Uche Nworah, where it was revealed that the two corpses dumped inside the trunk of a car near Tempo mills Umunya, Anambra state, along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway last week are those of two brothers.
It was widely speculated that the brothers were victims of brutal kidnapping as they had allegedly attended a church program somewhere along Oguta road Onitsha, Anambra State, and their corpses were later discovered at Umunya inside the trunk of their car.
When the news first broke on the internet last week and the video was circulated, it was alleged that the corpses were those of a husband and his wife.
Commenting on the sad development on Facebook, an Aguleri-based Anglican priest, Venerable Emmanuel Ik Onovo, said; “They are my two sons in Anglican Children’s Ministry (ACM ) Omogba Onitsha years back.
“I called their parents yesterday to offer them prayers. Onyema and Nonso may your souls rest in peace.”
Those concerned, including relatives and family members of the victims have called on the security agents to rise to the occasion and fish out the killers of the brothers.
