BiodunFatoyinbo: 30 Witnesses To Testify Against Fatoyinbo
At least 30 persons have been lined up to testify against Biodun Fatoyinbo, the pastor of COZA in a class action suit that is being prepared against him by Citizen Gavel, a civil society organization it has emerged.
Segun Awosanya, who works with the CSO confirmed to The Guardian that the allegation of rape raised by Busola Dakolo was only one of several victims that are now being considered for the class action suit.
“We have more than 30 people who are ready to testify against him,” he told The Guardian.
“Busola’s case is just one out of the plethora of abuses that we have heard.”
He observed that Fatoyinbo who has denied the allegation of rape will be sued for statutory rape since the incident took place when Ms. Dakolo was less than 18.
Awosanya, affirmed that the action must not be seen as being directed against COZA but one aimed at Fatoyinbo as a person in a move directed against the pervasive culture of rape in the society.
