Bella Hadid and The Weeknd ‘on a break as busy schedules put strain on romance’
Bella Hadid and The Weeknd are reportedly on a break after their busy work schedules made their relationship difficult.
The model and sister of Victoria’s Secret runway beauty Gigi went public with her romance with the singer earlier this year, but it is claimed the stress of their careers made things tough.
According to E! News, the 19-year-old star and her singer-songwriter partner – whose real name is Abel Tasfaye – will still remain a part of each other’s lives.
A source said: “Bella and The Weeknd have taken a break. Their schedules got very busy and it really cut into there relationship.
“They are still in each other’s lives though, just not in the same exclusive capacity.”
It is also claimed that Bella and The Weeknd didn’t spend Christmas together.
This comes as the star’s mum Yolanda Foster shared a family snap with Bella, her sister Gigi and brother Anwar.
They all looked very happy together, and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star wrote about the importance of family.
She captioned the photo: “The best thing to hold onto in Life is each other……… Merry Christmas from our family to yours xoxo (sic)”
We have contacted the stars’ reps for comment.
