This is indeed great news for the good people of Badagry. Within the next few months, they will begin to enjoy top-notch medical facilities with quality medical personnel to attend to them. This is because there has been a significant development for healthcare services in the area. The General Hospital has received approval from the Medical Council of Nigeria (MDCN) to commence housemanship training for newly qualified doctors. And above all, my gratitude goes to our proactive Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu that has put in a great deal of effort to make this incredible accomplishment possible

This remarkable development has indeed come at the right time when the Badagrians are yearning for improved medical services. With the upgrading of the General Hospital to standard level with approval for Housemanship training, this is just what the constituency has been hoping for. Without a doubt, with this upgrading, their prayers have been answered.

We are very happy and excited. furthermore: “This approval from MDCN is expected to enhance the hospital’s capacity to support medical training and provide improved healthcare services to the community.
The implications of this development is that sooner rather than later, Badagry GH will become teaching Hospital in full capacity.”

“I am using this medium to thank the management and staff of Badagry GH for thier dedication to quality health care delivery in Badagry. Once again, i appreciate Mr. Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his commitment to the development of Badagry.

“GH Badagry, forward ever, backward never.”

This development is seen as a major boost for medical training in Lagos State, particularly in the Badagry area, as it not only supports local doctors in completing their training but also promises to enhance healthcare delivery in the Badagry Division.
