Baba Tee Must Be Stoned To Death!

By
Wale Ojo-Lanre Esq
Walahi!
That young boy
The stand-up comedian, the extraordinary MC, the brilliant actor, the rising star
Must go down!
He has committed harakiri!
A crime so grave, so unforgivable, that he must be stoned to death!
Yes, let’s gather here.
Let’s storm the nearest quarry.
Let’s pick up stones by the thousands and hurl them at him.
But wait.
Stone who?
For what?
Tufia!
Rubbish!
Stupid act !
The boy has done nothing wrong.
Nothing!
He has committed no crime—except that of being a victim.
Yes, Baba Tee was hunted, stalked, and harassed.
Invaded by shameless ladies who turned his privacy into a circus.
He was a prey, not a predator.
If he is wise, he should drag them to court.
Especially that Mary—
That Mary Idiot! That Mary Scarlet!
Whoever raises a stone against Baba Tee will die unsung.
Baba Tee bears no fault in this matter. The real culprit is Mary Gold, who orchestrated the entire setup with malicious intent. Her actions were premeditated and calculated to entrap Baba Tee.
From a legal standpoint, several offenses can be identified in her conduct:
Criminal Conspiracy – Under Section 96 of the Nigerian Criminal Code Act, any person who conspires with another to commit an offense is guilty of a crime. Mary Gold intentionally facilitated and encouraged wrongdoing, making her complicit.
Invasion of Privacy – Secretly recording individuals without their knowledge or consent violates Section 37 of the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria, which guarantees the right to privacy. Additionally, the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act, 2015 criminalizes the unauthorized recording and distribution of private content.
Stalking and Harassment – Stalking is a criminal offense under Section 24 of the Cybercrimes Act, which prohibits the use of electronic means to intimidate, harass, or unlawfully surveil others. Mary Gold’s actions—bringing the lady, encouraging misconduct, and covertly recording the event—constitute clear harassment.
Baba Tee has strong legal grounds to sue Mary Gold for damages arising from defamation, breach of privacy, and emotional distress. He should promptly take legal action to hold her accountable and prevent further malicious acts.
