APC Is Confident Of Winning Presidential Election-David Lyon

….Inaugurates Bayelsa Contact and Mobilisation Committee

Ex-governor elect in Bayelsa State’s governorship election in November, 2019 and the immediate past vice chairman of the South South All Progressives Congress APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Chief David Lyon, has expressed confidence over the chances of the APC winning the February 25 presidential election and winning in the polls in Bayelsa State on the 25th and 11th of February and March 2023, respectively.

Lyon, who doubles as the Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC) Deputy Director of South South Contact and Mobilization, stated this on Wednesday February 8, 2023 in Yenagoa during the inauguration of the state and LG chapters of the contact and mobilisation committee of the PCC.

He urged members to mobilise massively from the local governments down to the local polling units in every community in the state, saying that the task is to ensure that Tinubu and Shettima win the election.

“As the Deputy Director South South of Tinubu/Shettima Campaign Council contact and mobilisation I hereby inaugurate the state and local governments chapter.

“The task ahead of us is huge, but we must win this election for Asiwaju/Shettima ticket. Not only that, in Bayelsa State, we have APC candidates from the Senate to house of representatives and to the house of assembly. We have been working, and we must work to make sure that we win this election from the presidential to the state,” he said.

He urged members of the committee to mobilize massively from the state down to local government areas, wards, communities, and units level to ensure that on February 25, the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu/Shettima Ticket is achieved and comes out victorious, as well as the National Assembly Elections, which comprise the Senates and Federal House of Representatives, and more specifically on March 11, 2023, for the state house of assembly.

Following that, the newly inaugurated Coordinator of the Bayelsa State Contact and Mobilization Committee Tinubu/Shettima 2023 Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Ndutimi Komonibo, thanked Chief David Lyon and all other members of the national committee for the trust placed in them and assured them that they would carry out the assignment faithfully.

“When the task is enormous, you don’t talk much; we will swing into action.

“Your charge is very simple. You want victory from the state to the local government areas cascading into the wards. I want to assure you on behalf of this committee that you have inaugurated that we will be up and doing, that we are result-oriented, resolute, focused, and that we will give you success,” he said.
