Alaafin of Oyo’s Wife Adultery Scandal; Liz Anjorin Connection

Popular Yoruba Nollywood Actress, Liz Anjorin has been linked to the adultery scandal trailing the youngest wife of the Alaafin of Oyo, (HRM), Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, Olori Badirat Ajoke Adeyemi that hit town like a volcano few days back.

Olori Badirat Adeyemi was alleged to be having a romantic affair with popular Fuji Music Artist, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka KWAM 1, who was recently installed as Mayegun of Yorubaland by Oba Adeyemi.

Sources close to the palace revealed to us exclusively that Anjorin, who is said to enjoy a strong link to the monarch, leaked the adultery allegation to some Instagram bloggers, who went to town with the story on their blogs.

We were informed that Anjorin has a strong influence on some of the young oloris of the respected monarch and even encouraged their activities on the social media, they are active on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

It will be recalled that the adultery story began on Wednesday April,15, 2020 shortly after Olori Badirat reportedly took a trip to Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State, where KWAM 1 resides permanently.

There was a suspicion that Olori Badirat went on a visit to the Fuji Music icon.

It was then alleged that the Queen was sent packing from the palace over her alleged adulterous affair with KWAM 1 and the news trended in the social media.

But in a swift response to the allegation, Olori Badirat Ajoke, in an interview which is now trending on YouTube, invoked the oracles of Oyo palace and spiritual mothers to punish her if she had any adulterous affair with the Fuji musician.

Responding to the allegation, KWAM 1 denied the rumour of his alleged romantic affair with Queen Ajoke.

In a statement released by his media aide, Kunle Rasheed, the Fuji music icon denied having any relationship with the queen.

The music star said some people are determined to drag his name in the mud.

“The attention of Fuji Maestro and Mayegun of Yorubaland, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, K1 De Ultimate, has been drawn to the rumour making the rounds in the past 48 hours, on social media platforms, where it has been alleged that the music icon was having an affair with Olori Ajoke, one of the wives of Alayeluwa, the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 111.

“Ordinarily, one would have waved off this allegation as one coming from the warped mind of one possibly numbed by high covid-19 fever.

“But as known in these parts, a lie repeatedly told, has a way of transmuting to truth. Let me categorically state that the rumour is a lie concocted from the pit of hell by those whose aim is to drag to the mud, the name of K1 De Ultimate and ultimately that of the most revered kingdom in Yoruba land.

“These agents of Lucifer have continued in their warped delusions to see K1 go to the ground just for being conferred with the title of Mayegun of Yoruba land. The Alaafin’s crime is the conferment of the honour, hence the grim plot to drag him down also. Moreover, the higly respected Monarch and his Olori have both debunked the story as baseless and unfounded.

“For the records, as the Mayegun of Yorubaland, K1 is aware of the customs and traditions of the Yoruba and as such, cannot put the culture and tradition of the Yorubaland to disrepute.

“Let me remind the rumour mongers that Nigeria has adequate laws to bring anyone who has embarked on character assassination of the innocent to book. The fans and the general public should be rest assured that we will legally seek redress for this allegation.

Despite all these, accusations are trailing the youngest wife of the Oba, who many said ought to “amend her ways” as a wife of a senior monarch in Yorubaland.

Our investigation revealed that olori Badirat voluntarily moved out of the palace at the heat of the controversy without the knowledge of the Alaafin who was said to be out of town when the news broke.

The source who is close to the palace told us exclusively that the monarch will rather not speak on the infidelity issue now.

“Badirat cannot claim to lack care or anything, she was a young secondary school leaver when iku baba yeye, took her in as a wife and sent her to the university, she got exposed to the world by the grace of the king, if things like this are now coming up, it requires a lot of wisdom to handle ” the source said.
