Akwa Ibom Governor Designates Daughter Acting First Lady
The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has designated his daughter, Helen Eno-Obareki, to serve as the Acting First Lady of the state in the wake of the passing of his wife, Pastor Patience Eno.
On Friday, the governor shared the news during a condolence visit that included Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, along with other esteemed guests in Uyo.
Eno expressed that his daughter would assume the responsibilities of the First Lady, guaranteeing the ongoing support of the office and the initiatives launched by his late wife, especially the Golden Initiative For All.
He said, “To maintain the Office of the First Lady and carry forward my late wife’s work, I present our daughter, Helen, to continue the duties of the office. She will work closely with the Deputy Governor and the Commissioner for Women’s Affairs and Social Welfare,”
