Agege LG Continues Distributions Of Free Notebooks To Public Primary Schools In The Community

The Local Government Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Egunjobi, has continued the distribution of free notebooks to the public primary schools within Agege community.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 100,000 notebooks along side school uniforms have been earmarked to be distributed to the public school pupils and students in Agege community.

 

The Pupils and teachers in the Public Schools could not hide their excitement as they thanked the Executive Chairman of Agege LG and the management for the kind gesture.

The distribution exercise which was led by the Leader of the Agege Legislative arm, Hon. Najeem Olohuntoyin Sanjay, who represented the Chairman along with members of the Legislative and Executive arms as well as some administrative staff of the Council.

Some of the teachers interviewed particularly appreciate the kind gesture of the council Chairman, which they described as timely,because many of these pupils resumed with no notebook or writing material, which has been a major concern to the school until the intervention of the local government.

Schools visited on Wednesday include: Salvation primary school, Dopemu Primary School, AUI Primary School,
Issa Williams Primary School, Jubreel Martins Primary School, Oniwaya,
State Nursery and Primary School, Iloro,
Oduduwa Primary School,Iloro,
Community primary School,Idi Mangoro,
Ifeoluwa Nursery and Primary School.

NAN reports that 26 Public Primary Schools would be benefitting from the free learning kits and school uniforms Palliative Education Care by the chairman of the Agege local government, Alhaji Ganiyu Egunjobi.
