Adebutu Disowns Son for Backing APM’s Akinlade against APC’s Abiodun …Tells Kinsmen Who to Vote For
illionaire Founder and Chairman of Premier Lotto Nigeria Limited, Sir Kesington Adebutu, has distanced himself from the decision of his son, Ladi, to team up with the candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), Adekunle Akinlade, who is not their kinsman.
Adebutu hails from Iperu Remo, in Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prince Dapo Abiodun.
But, his son who lost a court battle to run as governor on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), announced his support for Akinlade, who is from Yewaland.
Adebutu in a statement today says his son is on his own.
The statement signed by Mr Princelyn Oduenyi says: “As a fallout of the political manoeuvring currently on-going in Ogun state, a renowned multi-billionaire son of Remo land, SIR KESINGTON ADEBUTU has distanced himself from son’s political calculations saying, Ladi is on his own. According to the Octogenarian Business mogul, Ladi has lost his case in the Court and therefore, it will be in the interest of everybody to rally support for another Ijebu son Dapo Abiodun in Saturday’s gubernatorial election.
“In the interest of REMO and IJEBU community, all REMO Sons and Daughters should vote in favour of Dapo Abiodun.
“Dapo Abiodun deserves our collective support as Remos.”
