Iyara Development Association Calls For Help As Gunmen Kidnap Retired Kogi Civil Servant

The Iyara Development Association, IDA has called for the release of a retired civil servant in Kogi State, Mr Adekunle Ola who was recently kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
According to a statement signed by
the National President of IDA, Alhaji Aliyu Badaki, Phd, Mr. Ola was abducted by gunmen numbering 10 at his residence on Wednesday night and taken to the bush.
“This is coming less than 1 year that the Chief Imam of the Community, Sheikh Kasim Musa was kidnapped at his Ilukpa Residence in March last year.
“While we condemn this reoccurring attacks on Iyara, the Headquarters of Ijumu Local Government Area, we call on Security Agencies to Fish out the perpetrators.
“We call on our people to remain calm and not take laws into their hands but allow security agencies to do their job,” he said
