BREAKING: Full List: Lagos Contributes N2.21trn To VAT, Surpassing All 36 States Combined
An analysis of revenue allocation from Nigeria’s Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) on Tuesday revealed Lagos State as the largest contributor to the VAT pool in 10 months with N2.21 trillion (the highest share of the total pool).
According to an analysis by Cable Index, on Tuesday, December 3, the contribution of Lagos state to the poll surpassed all 36 states contribution summed up.
The analysis, which covers the period from January to October 2024, showed the amount contributed to the pool by the 36 states in the country.
