Mike Adenuga Is Alive, Insiders Dispel Social Media Rumours
Founder and Chairman, Globacom, foremost indigenous telecom operator, Otunba Michael Ishola Adenuga, popularly called Mike Adenuga, is alive, insiders within his establishments have confirmed.
The confirmation comes against the backdrop of rumours and insinuations by certain online platforms that he may have passed on.
A top management source disclosed that he and his colleagues recently had a conversation with Adenuga, who is held in some quarters as the pride of Africa, even as claims of his demise raged on social media.
“No such thing happened. He is well,” according to the source who quoted those who just spoke with the Chairman of Globacom, the telecommunications company making many families happy this season with Glo Jolly Promo
Another staff of the telecom giant who pleaded not to be mentioned also asserted that Adenuga, the wealthy Nigerian known for his far-reaching generosity, is alive.
Other insiders within his outfits have confirmed the development.
The Chairman of the Mike Adenuga Group, which spans oil and gas, telecommunications, aviation, construction, banking and real estate, clocked 71 on April 29. With a remarkable net worth of $6.7bn in 2024 as estimated by Forbes, Adenuga, is ranked number two richest man in Africa.
