UNILESA Makes Education Programmes Tuition Fee Free

The University of Ilesa, Ilesa, Osun State has made all programmes in the Faculty of Education in the University TUITION FEE FREE from 100 level till graduation. Therefore, students admitted to study education programmes in the University will only have to pay certain affordable incidental charges.

The Authorities of the University arrived at this decision while expressing great concern over the general dwindling enrollment of candidates in all programmes in the Faculty of Education and the need to save the noble teaching profession from extinction.

Implementation of this policy will take effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.

The following education programmes are offered by the University of Ilesa, Ilesa, Osun State:

• B. A. Ed. Business Education

• B. Sc. Ed. Chemistry Education
• B. Sc. Ed. Physics Education
• B. Sc. Ed. Mathematics Education
• B. Sc. Ed. Environmental Education

It is believed that this decision which is in tandem with the integral action plan of the Government of Osun State under His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, in getting qualified teachers appointed to teach in the lower levels of the educational sector will yield the desired objective and will also help the nation at large.
