REJOINDER: Impersonation of Otunba Biodun Ajiboye’s Facebook Account

The Executive Secretary/CEO, National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Otunba Biodun Ajiboye wishes to bring to public notice of the creation of a fake Facebook account with his name, photos as well as personal information by unscrupulous elements with the intent to deceive people and possibly lure them into their fraudulent activities.

We want to state categorically that the said fake Facebook account does not belong to Otunba Biodun Ajiboye, neither does it in any way, represent his personality and therefore urge friends, family, associates and the general public to beware.

The public is hereby advised to ignore any friend request from the fake Facebook account, claiming to be Otunba Biodun Ajiboye and should not interact with it but rather, report the fake account to Facebook immediately by visiting the profile of the impersonator and selecting the option to report it as an impostor.

We wish to further inform the public that any suspicious communication claiming to be from Otunba Biodun Ajiboye should be verified through other means before taking any action.

While this issue has been reported to Facebook with the view to have the fake account removed as quickly as possible, the general public is hereby urged to exercise caution as well as spread the word to prevent others from being misled.
