Yeye (Barrister) Mrs Caroline Adeneye, wife of Otunba Dayo Adeneye (D1) of Prime Time Africa, and MD of Global Concept Ltd, Kaleneg Nigeria  Ltd, Eunice and St Michael Property Estates and her siblings, home and abroad, held private prayer Memorial Mass for Mercy and Forgiveness at Scared Heart Catholic Church, Lagos State, for her brother, Osimen Collins Negbenebor.
Osimen’s death was a devasting blow to the family, especially being the only brother and son amongst 8 siblings.
Guests flew from around the world to be part of the private ceremony based on the great humanitarian character of Mr Osimen Collins Negbenebor.
A legacy  of generosity and success
Osimen Collins Negbenebor was born in 1974 in Benin City, Edo State, and he was the first son of the late Michael Negbenebor and Mrs Eunice Negbenebor and her only son.
He was a jolly good fellow. Right from a young age, Collins was deeply involved  in his community and faith. He served as an Altar boy at st Joseph’s Catholic Church, Benin City and later became a member of Knights of St John, reflecting his commitment to service and religious devotion.
Collins was known and will be missed  for his ever present smile and kind nature. He followed the footsteps of his father, Sir Michael  Negbenebor who was one of the well respected  personalities  in the old Bendel, now Edo State, before his demise in 2014 through kidnapping  in Benin City. Unfortunately, he has not been found till today.
These made Mr Osimen Negbenebor’s death  at the age of 50, a very painful  loss to the family.
He was a successful businessman and a great philanthropist. His generosity and dedication to help others were well recognised  across borders.
He is survived by wife, Dr Margaret Negbenebor and their three sons Gabriel, Michael and Samuel Negbenebor. He also left behind his mother, sisters, brothers and relatives.
Collins Negbenebor’s legacy of kindness,  business acumen and philanthropy will be remembered by all who knew him.
