APC Chieftain, Adetugbobo, Seeks Grassroots Support For Tinubu Administration ….Bags Ancestral Chieftaincy Title

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr AbdulHakeem Adetugbobo, has called for the support of the people of the grassroots for the administration of President Bola Tinubu, which is set to mark its first anniversary.
Dr Adetugbobo stressed that Nigerians should be ready to sacrifice by enduring some economic policies of the incumbent administration, which he said are aimed at making the country better at this critical time, adding that better days are ahead for the nation.
He emphasised that Nigeria is about to achieve greatness, but that President Tinubu should be allowed to reform certain sectors of the nation so that the nation can get the desired results.
“President Bola Tinubu means well for Nigeria and Nigerians. Our people should allow him to do what he plans to do so that we can achieve the best.
“Great things don’t come easily. We should not just look at what is happening at the moment. Let us join hands with him to move our nation forward so that we can get the best,” he said.
Dr AbdulHakeem Adetugbobo stated these as he was conferred with the ancestral title of Otunba Amesofe of Ijebu Ife in Ijebu East Local Government Area of Ogun State.
Performing the official installation on Saturday April 27, in his palace, the Ajalorun of Ijebu Ife, Oba Adesesan Afolorunso Oguntayo, said that Adetugbobo was conferred with the title in view of his link with Amesofe, one of the three ruling houses of the town.
Oba Oguntayo noted that Adetugbobo, who is the Director General of Lagos Strategy Group, Asiwaju Grassroots Talk, AGT, was selected from the Ruling House due to his years of contribution to the socio-economic development of the town.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the APC, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi showered encomiums on Adetugbobo, describing him as a true party man, who he said is connected with the people at the grassroots.
He recalled that the AGT DG used the platform of the group to market the party to the electorate at the grassroots level, which according to him, contributed to the success of the APC at the 2023 general elections.
