Alhaja Ramotalahi Aduke Odediran  died on January 2, 2024 at the age of 83 and she was buried same day, but she left indelible memories in the lives of her children, friends, and family members, who gave her a befitting eight days fidau prayer.

Ramotalahi Ikeoluwa Central Mosque located at Akala expressway, Ibadan, venue of the befitting eight days prayer, was filled to the brim with different sever Imam and alfas, an indication which showed that the deceased lived a life of service to God and humanity.
The eldest son of the deceased, Alhaji Dhikirulahi Kayode Odediran, who is also the National Amir of An-Najihun Islamic Organisation, while speaking about his mother, stated that she was a generous woman, who diligently served God and humanity.
“Apart from being one of the foremost food sellers in the state, our mother was generous and she was a complete family woman, who always brought members of the family together. If our mother had 15 houses across the country she was more than that, but her generosity disallowed this, but we thank Allah that she lived for humanity.
“Even before she died, she instructed us not to spend money on funeral, but to pray for her and donate to mosques and we are not going against her wish,” he said.
Also speaking about her, Alhaji Abdulahi Olaide Odediran stated that he will forever miss her motherly advice, which he said had been a guide to him from his growing up yeats and that his mother did many things for humanity.
“She sent the children of many of her late friends to school and assisted them till they all got married and she was a prominent food seller in the state and beyond.
The Founder of An-Najihun Islamic Association, Alhaji Ismaeel Salaudeen Folaranmi, while speaking about the late Alhaja Odediran, said that he knew her as a woman, who dedicated her life to serving God and humanity.
“She always wanted things to be done accordingly and she always encouraged other women, most especially her Muslim friends, to donate generously to the things of Allah instead of spending on worldly things,” he said.
He also described her as a woman, who cherished her family and who never wanted things to be done anyhow.
A former governor of Oyo State, Senator Rasidi Ladoja, Alhaja Amdalat Iyadunni among many other prominent Nigerians graced the occasion.
