I Don’t Think I Miss Being Nigeria’s President- Buhari
Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has said that he does not miss his time as president.
The former Nigerian leader made the disclosure in an interview with the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA).
This is Buhari’s first interview since leaving office on May 29, 2023.
The former president, when asked about what he misses from his time in office, responded saying: “Miss. I don’t think I miss much.”
The teaser of Buhari’s interview was released by NTA on its X handle. The full version of the interview will be aired on Monday by 10:30 pm.
Buhari had previously said he would not miss his time in office because he was being “harassed”.
In December 2022, the former president said he was doing his best for Nigerians, but it was not good enough.
“I believe I’m trying my best, but still my best is not good enough,” Buhari had said.
“I wonder if I am going to miss much. I think I’m being harassed.”
