Honour was recently given to whom it is due when a retired officer of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Air Commodore Musibau Soladoye, was honoured by the force.

A prominent road was named after Soladoye by NAF at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Nigerian Air Force Base, Kaduna, six years after retiring from the force.

Recall that Soladoye was the Commandant of AFIT, where he proved his mettle through transformational polices that repositioned the institute.

The patriotic Nigerian, who served his fatherland with all sincerity, was elated by the honour, which he dedicated to all the loyal officers of the force; both retired and servicing.

Those, who witnessed the colourful ceremony agreed that Soladoye believes so much in service to his fatherland, which they said he proved throughout his stay in service.

Soladoye told those at the event that he would continue to do his best for his fatherland, even after leaving office, saying that “all hands must be on deck at this critical time in our nation, when we all need to co-operate with the new government to get the best for our nation.”
