Adekanmbi showers encomium on Olowo over appointment as Chancellor FUST, Jigawa

As encomium continues to pour in for the Olowo of Owo, a former Commissioner for Special Duties, Culture and Tourism, Honourable Femi Adekanmbi, has hailed the appointment of the paramount ruler of Owo Kingdom, Oba (Dr) Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, as Chancellor, Federal University of Science and Technology, Bubara, Jigawa State.

The Olowo of Owo was on Thursday appointed the pro-chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Bubara, Jigawa by the federal government.

In a message signed by the All Progressives Congress, APC Chieftain on Thursday, he described the appointment of the monarch as a reward and celebration of excellence.

“I trust Kabiyesi that he will diligently and faithfully carry out the duties of his office at the university. The monarch is an administrator par excellence and a man of integrity who would leave no stone unturned in turning around the fortunes of the citadel of knowledge”

He added that the appointment is a call to serve humanity and it is well deserved.

“The university will benefit immensely from his rich knowledge and exposure towards the realisation of the university’s vision”

“Kabiyesi is a repertoire of knowledge and the university would benefit from his rich experience as an administrator and first-class traditional ruler”, Adekanmbi said.

Adekanmbi stated that he’s proud to associate with the monarch, being a prominent Owo indigene himself.
