Ebute lauds Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group over Tinubu’s victory

An All Progressives Congress ( APC) chieftain and Nigeria’s former Senate President, Senator Ameh Ebute, has expressed his appreciation to the National Chairman, Otunba Yomi Odunowo, and entire members of the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group ( AATSG) for their loyalty, support and commitment which gave the party and the President – Elect victory at the February 28 and March 18, 2023 polls.

Senator Ebute described Asiwaju Tinubu’s election as resounding and well- deserved, considering the enormous human and material resources deployed by the members of the AATSG, a foremost campaign group that vigorously worked for the success of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and other elected APC leaders in the 2023 polls.

He noted that Nigerians appreciated the onerous contributions of the National Chairman and entire members of the AATSG to the party’s victory during the various elections, stressing that the leadership of the party and the President- Elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, would ensure the group’s trust in the ability of the APC to restore the country to its esteemable glory are actualized.

The National Leader of the Federal Legislators’ Forum particularly thanked the AATSG members and Nigerians in general for their support to the party over the years, stating that the election marked a new dawn in the country as the Asiwaju Tinubu administration was set to ensure that the needed infrastructure for the over- all development of the country are put in place.

The APC chieftain, however, assured that the party leadership and the President – Elect would do the needful by showing its appreciation by involving some of the AATSG’s members in the administration through political appointments.

In his reaction to the former Senate President’s appreciation of the AATSG’s contributions to the election of Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu and other elected APC leaders, its National Chairman, Otunba Yomi Odunowo, said the group strongly promoted the aspirations of the President- Elect based on its independent assessment which adjudged Asiwaju Tinubu the best candidate for the nation’s presidency based on his unblemished track records in both public and private life, exemplary leadership qualities and management ingenuity.

Speaking on how his group was able to achieve the feat, Otunba Odunowo explained that the group deployed enough human and material resources to involve the would – be voters, enlightened them and made them see reasons for their support for Asiwaju and other APC candidates, as well as ensuring the mobilisation of over 50 million voters for the Tinubu /Shettima ticket with very solid structures put in place in the nation’s 176,460 polling units.

He further stressed that the campaign group also not only embarked on door – to – door engagements using the HumanGenie mobile app, but equally developed another mobile apps – the Jagaban , which was part of the tools used to influence the people’s thoughts on social media as the apps were directly downloaded from Google play and iOS Store.
