Dele Ologun set to lead Alasoadura group as Tola Awosika, Akure North DG appointed group secretary

Scores of Chief Tayo Alasoadura group that openly, and with impunity participated in anti party activities in the last election were gathered together in a meeting at the Alagbaka extension house of Hon Dele Ologun(Commissioner for Youth & Sports) where he assured them of adequate protection and provide leadership for members of the group in Akure North and report to our oga chief Alasoadura.

At the meeting , Ologun openly dissociated himself against people persecuting Alasoadura group in Akure North that as far as he is concerned ,there was no anti party during the election and that he hold the senator in high esteem. He however appointed Mr Fadumo(DG) Tola Awosika in the local govt as the group secretary.

Few days ago, hoodlums loyal to Chief Tayo Alasoadura beat and stripped naked the councilor of Iju ward 8 councillor Hon Idowu Aderoyin , the chairman of the ward , another chieftain, and the ODIEC officer in Akure North Mr Omotoso Diya They were later arrested and charged to court where they were remanded in prison custody at Olokuta . Ironically, Hon Dele Ologun was the first caller pleading for the release of the hoodlums before the arrival of Hon. Faleye Abiodun , Prince Segun Oluyede later joined them at the court premises.

The list of those that attended Hon Dele ologun meeting last week across the ward and with particular reference to Chief Alasoadura leadership confirmed that the Hon. Commissioner is set to provide leadership to his group and permanently identify with his leader .

However, the likes of Rt Hon Keneth Olawale former speaker, Hon Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, former commissioner for works Tayo Fayanju former ally of chief Alasoadura and former full time member of SUBEB, chief Dapo Filani former Chairman of Water Corporation, Engr. Sunday Falae the DG of the last election in Akure Federal Constituency , the Assembly elect Hon Ologede, the Council chairman Hon. Ogbesetore, Chief Mrs Olufunke Adu, Iyaloja of APC, Mr Afolabi Ojo Lincoln , the secretary of the party in the local govt Mr Atanniyi, political office holders, all the twelve serving councillors ,ten out of the 12 ward chairmen with other notable leaders has condemned the recent attack on party members ,condemned the anti party activity of chief Alasoadura and his co travellers pledge their continuous support to Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, and total loyalty to the party
