David Lyon Mourns Pere Of Tarakiri Kingdom …Says; “He Was A Great Philanthropist”
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Governor-Elect of Bayelsa State, Chief David Lyon, has commiserated with the Koroye Kpadia families of Sagbama Local Government area in the state over the demise of His Royal Majesty, Engr Orukarabai Richaford Koroye, Pere of Tarakiri Kingdom, Kpadia V.
In a condolence message signed by Chief David Lyon on behalf of his political family, he described the late monarch HRM, Engr Orukaraibai Koroye, as a great philanthropist and a lover of his people and Ijaw land and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the wives of the monarch, the children and the chiefs and good people of Tarakiri Kingdom in Sagbama LG area and Ekeremor LG area of Bayelsa State area and Patani LG area of Delta State.
He prayed God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest.
Chief David Lyon specifically sent his condolences to Hon Douye koroye, whom he described as his younger brother, and asked God to give the Koroye family and Tarakiri Kingdom the strength to bear this great loss to the Ijaw nation.
