Expect My Autobiography Soon -2Face
Renowned Nigerian musician, Innocent ‘2Face’ Idibia, has revealed his desire to publish a book chronicling his life stories.
2Face, who was at the launch of a book written in his honour by prolific entertainment journalist, Adekunle Ayeni, last week, told newsmen at the occasion that he is planning to write his autobiography.
The father of seven thanked Ayeni for coming up with the idea of writing a book on him, explaining that it was a laudable initiative.
‘I will write my autobiography. It is good to know that people are watching you, which formed the basis of this book launch today,’ 2Face told journalists in an interview session with him at the Terra Kulture, Lagos, where the event took place last week.
The book, ‘A Very Good Bad Guy: The Story of Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia’, put together interviews and stories of the singer by Ayeni, his former image maker, who is the publisher of NET.
The 460-page book also contains a wide range of materials on Idibia’s life and times, including accounts from his mother, his wife, siblings, colleagues and mentors. It also contains selected lyrics and discography, as well as editorial materials dating as far back as 2005.
