Otegbeye Emerges ADC Governorship Candidate In Ogun State
The Yewa South Local Government area of Ogun State-born legal practitioner-cum politician, Barrister Biyi Otegbeye has emerged the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC for the 2023 general election in the state.
According to a source in the party, members of the faction of former governor Ibukunle Amosun in the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state decided to cross over to the ADC, where they were given much recognition.
The source added that Alhaji Olatunde Awonuga from Ogun waterside has been picked as Otegbeye’s running mate.
It will be recalled that Otegbeye moved from Amosun’s faction of the APC to that of Governor Dapo Abiodun of the state in 2019.
Otegbeye later returned to Amosun’s faction the same year, where he obtained the APC governorship ticket for the primary election, but lost to Abiodun.
