Faleke Emerges Secretary of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council
A top ranking member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke has been appointed as the Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council for Tinubu/Shettima 2023.
While Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the Presidential Candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Kashim Shettima is the party’s Vice Presidential Candidate.
The news of Faleke’s appointment was confirmed through the Twitter handle of Tinubu Support Group (TSG) formed by Faleke and others.
Faleke, representing Ikeja Constituency at the green chamber, alongside others, formed the TSG to propagate the ambition of the former Governor of Lagos State.
The activities of TSG reportedly gave Tinubu a wide acceptance, particularly in the Northern part of the country, in the build-up to the presidential election primary of the APC.
Recall that Faleke once organised an inter-religious prayer sessions for Tinubu in Lagos and he was the agent of Tinubu during the presidential primary of the party.
The appointment was seen as well deserved “for a man, who has been an ardent follower and supporter of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the years.”
