2023: Opinion Poll Favours Babajide Fadairo For Ifo/Ewekoro Reps Seat Under APC
An independent opinion poll conducted by a political analyst, Mr. Olusola Adeniyi across Ogun State has indicated the preference of majority of the voting population in Ogun State for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was however, notable in the report that while Governor Dapo Abiodun of the state is preferred for second term in office, the people of Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency in Ogun Central also want Prince Babajide Fadairo to represent them at the Federal House of Representatives in 2023 under the APC.
Adeniyi, who promised to reveal the entire result of the poll in the coming days, said that he and his team adopted the simple random sampling method of research for the study, adding that it was an objective activity that was devoid of bias of any kind.
“I want to thank my team for a job well done and I can tell you that the whole process took us some weeks and we travailed the whole of Ogun State.
“For Governor Dapo Abiodun, people were impressed with his performances and they promised to vote for him in 2023 for second term.
“We also did a thorough job in the three senatorial districts in the state, but since you are interested in Ogun Central, I can tell you that the people still want the APC back into office.
“However, we were taken aback that for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, the people specifically said that they wanted Prince Babajide Fadairo as their representative in 2023.
“They pointed to what they said he has been able to do for them even without being in office and they said that he has the potentials to take the area to the next level as a lawmaker,” he said.
The researcher emphasised that when they probed further, the people of the area said that Fadairo has displayed qualities of a good leader and that he has been connecting with the grassroots over the years since he relocated from his base in the United States of America (USA).
He added that they also did their own Independent investigations about Prince Fadairo and that they were convinced that he would deliver.
The analyst said that while he would not mention names, none of the other aspirants has the qualities of Prince Fadairo, who he said is not only cerebral, but is exposed enough and has the right connections that would lead to development in the Constituency.
“I am from Ifo area of the state too and I know the desire of our people. We thank Governor Dapo Abiodun for what he has done for us since he got to office in 2019, but prior to that we were neglected by past governments.
“So, the people believe that with the duo of Governor Dapo Abiodun and Fadairo, Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency will get more from 2023.
“Fadairo has the charisma, he is not a hungry politician, so he is not going there to amass wealth, which was part of what our researches showed and I want the people to be rest assured that they would be in safe hands if they allow Fadairo move to the green chamber in 2023,” he said.
