Nigeria Will Soon Witness Serious Political Wave-Prophet Iyunade
Presiding Pastor and President of Pentecostal Sanctuary Bible Ministries (Worldwide), Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, Prophet Sunday ‘Dare Iyunade has warned that there would soon be a serious and strong political wave in Nigeria.
Prophet yunade, who spoke against the backdrop of the 20th Annual Convention and 26th Anniversary of the ministry holding between Sunday March 20 and Sunday March 27, 2022 with the theme; “God of All Sufficiency,” added that the wave would be that of reformation.
Iyunade however, said that the wave is not about a political party, but that it will be a turnaround and bring about reform.
The cleric, who revealed that there would be no credible, free and fair election in Nigeria in 2023, stressed that conducting election in Nigeria now means wastage of insufficient and unavailable resources, and urged Nigerians to pray for God’s divine intervention on the election.
According to him, the government just wanted to waste resources with the election, and that “they know that people will not vote.”
The cleric, notable for his accurate predictions, said that insecurity in the nation will persist “as the architects and sponsors of insecurity are still on ground.
“Insecurity is an instrument in the hands of some politicians. There is no obvious hope of change in government.
“Any offshoot of the present team can only be fair, but there is no guarantee of improvement. We need to pray for them and all Nigerians should be involved in politics for us to have a say in order to bring in the desired change.”
While saying that Nigeria will lose great, strong and prominent politicians, the man of God said that this was the right time for South West leaders to sit down and think wisely “as the South West has abused the political privilege God has given them. They are majorly responsible for the backwardness and setback in the country.”
He added that South West political leaders determine, who rules the country, saying that the political leaders from the zone should repent from their bad ways.
The Prophet stated further that the current hardship in the country was generated by the government, which he said shut down the economy for some months.
He stressed that the people wanted to create jobs for themselves, but that they needed fund, security and a good environment.
“The government should change their policies. Poverty is a political weapon and we are in war situation in the country.
“Job slots are now being sold and the jobs are not available. We should pray to God for divine intervention.
“We should also take stocks and encourage Christains to join political parties so that they could contribute to development.
“Christians are less than 50% in the Nigerian politics. If they are many, it will be better. We will then clean the dirtiness with our integrity. Politics has been made dirty as many corrupt people are in the system,” he said.
He urged Christian leaders to sensitize their members on the 2023 general elections and do away with sentiments, adding that the church leaders should encourage their “members for nation building like Jeremiah did and restored Jerusalem.”
On the war between Russia and Ukraine, he said that God will punish Russia for the attack on the latter, while revealing that the dreaded COVID-19 will continue to live with humanity and that “it will be with us forever with various variants.”
