Government at all levels have been advised to create a ministry that will cater for widows and the less privileged in the society.

Prophetess Dolapo Adealo, during a press conference to herald Mercy of God Foundation, stated that if the government could make adequate provisions for the widows and the less privileged, thuggery, prostitution and other social menaces will be reduced in the society.

Prophetess Adealo hinted that her closeness to many widows informed her passion to create the foundation and that she would be donating food items and cash gifts to the needies through the foundation annually.

According to her, the launching of Divine Mercy Foundation will hold on April 7, 2022 with people from Nigeria and other parts of the world in attendance.

Among the dignitaries expected at the event is Prophet Olusegun Adeoye (Fitila Olorun), who is the Preacher, while AP. Mother Florence Okegbade will chair the occasion.

Also expected at the event are Mr and Mrs Abosede Adewale, while Primate Titus Jemitola will be the special guest and the spiritual father of the day.

Speaking about widows, Prophetess Dolapo advised other clergies to embrace giving instead of extorting money from their congregation.

“I am passionate about widows because after the death of their husbands, they are always left with children to cater for and if you consider the harsh economic situation in the country now, you will know that it will be difficult for them to carry out domestic responsibilities.

“I have seen some of them fornicating and obtaining weekly loans to make ends meet.

“Findings revealed that this is making life unbearable for them and I pray that God will help me to cater for as many widows as possible,” she said.

Prophetess Dolapo also disclosed that giving and solving other people’s problems have been her childhood ambition, while praying that God should assist her to change the programme from annual to a monthly event so that she could cater for more widows and the less privileged.
