Finance ministry reacts to fire incident at its headquarters in Abuja
The Federal Ministry of Finance has reacted to a fire incident at is headquarters, in Abuja, on Wednesday.
In a terse statement sent to THE WITNESS by Yunusa Tanko Abdullahi, special adviser, Media & Communications to the minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, said the incident occurred “on the corridor in the basement involving an isolated battery pack.”
He added that the fire has been put out by the security personnel on duty.
