Gbolabo Ogunsanwo: Eclipse of A Brand in Constructive Journalism – Otunba Gbenga Daniel
Former Governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel has described the demise of Chief Gbolabo Ogunsanwo as a sad moment for the Nigerian journalism community.
In his condolence message which he signed on Saturday, the former Governor said the painful exit of Chief Ogunsanwo as an “eclipse of a brand in constructive journalism and he will be greatly missed”.
“I have known and followed the writings of Chief Gbolabo Ogunsanwo for over forty years and have come to see in him a unique brand in journalism, resourcefulness and professionalism. He represented a great conscience in creative writing and everything noble in the journalism profession.
“A painful chapter has therefore been closed. But we are consoled that he lived up to a ripe old age, and we thank God for the life he lived.
On behalf of my family, I wish his immediate family, men and women of the journalism profession (his other family members by extension) the fortitude to bear his exit.
