Former Nigerian President, Ibrahim Babangida Celebrates Eid-El-Kabir With Children, Grandchildren

One of Nigeria’s foremost statesmen and 78-year-old former military president, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida celebrated the 2020 Eid-el-Kabir with his immediate family members, his children and grandchildren in a special way.

The good, old retired army general was surrounded by his children and grandchildren including his son, Mohammed Babangida, and daughter, Aisha Babangida, Aminu Babangida amongst several others as he savoured the joy of the day.

It was indeed a period of celebration for the family members of the ex-military president, who used the opportunity of the occasion to appreciate God for keeping him alive to witness this year’s Eid-El-Kabir.

In the Instagram photos, the former military president of the country could be seen surrounded by love.

Three of his all grown children were in the family photograph with him to mark the year 2020 Sallah day celebration.

Also joining their grandfather in a group photograph were some of his grandchildren, who all came to make the celebration memorable for the elder statesman.

The family of the former military president were full of joy as they celebrated their patriarch, who is viewed from many angles by different people.

But indeed, IBB played his roles as a man with vision, who was initially misunderstood by many, but who took some risks as a leader and is today appreciated by people with discerning minds.

In the words of one of his children, “our father did his best as a leader of the most populous black country in the world.

“He must have made some mistakes, but he tried as much as possible to correct them and laid a foundation for a democratic Nigeria, which manifested some years after he left office.”
