Revealed: Isiaka Adeleke Was Collecting N20 Million Every Month From Aregbesola To Betray PDP

Former governor Isiaka Adeleke of Osun State is a man many people have come to know as someone with his own style. The famous ‘serubawon’ has a unique style of wearing his cap, and not only that, his political move is also for the records.
Just recently, the stylish politician dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressive Congress, where he is said to be having the best of time and preparing for another move.
Sources revealed to us last week that the sensational politician was being used as a spy in the PDP by some leading gladiators in the APC, which was why he had to leave the party eventually.
According to informants, the Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola had been romancing Adeleke for some time before his final defection to the party.
The source stated that Adeleke was on the payroll of the Governor and that his bank account was being enriched with N20 Million monthly courtesy of the Governor.
Before Adeleke’s eventual exit from the PDP, he was notable as one of the governorship aspirants of the party and it was probably not obvious to the leaders of the party that his heart was with the APC even while he still professed to be a PDP member.
We were informed that the former governor was beating and rubbished at a meeting in a hotel by another top member of the party, when he attempted to attack another senior member of the PDP in Osun State, who happens to be the nation’s Minister of Police Affairs, Mr. Jelili Adesiyan.
It was also reported that Adeleke called the Governorship candidate of the PDP in the state, Senator Iyiola Omisore a murderer. It was alleged that Adeleke was acting under the influence of alcohol at the meeting.
“It was not a mistake that former governor Isiaka Adeleke was not made the governorship candidate of the PDP in Osun State. The man is a traitor. His heart was with the APC, while he professed to be a member of the PDP. He was collecting money from Governor Rauf Aregbesola on a monthly basis to divulge all the happenings in the PDP to the APC. Some of us knew he would leave the party eventually after acting out his scripts,” said a source.
The arrangement now is that Isiaka Adeleke would be given a senatorial ticket by the APC, and that he is being positioned as the senate president in the next dispensation.
‘They want to give Adeleke senatorial ticket under APC for 2015 and from there; he will now contest for Senate Presidency ticket from the South West. They said they would not follow zoning arrangement and it will be like what they did for the Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Malam Aminu Tambuwal, who is from the north. Their permutation is that the APC will have the highest number of senators in 2015. So if that works out, Adeleke will now be the Senate President. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Akinrogun Olusegun Osoba and Remi Bakare are the people behind the plot,” said a source.
