Students Escape Death, As Inferno Razed Exam Hall in Kano.
Hundreds of students at Aminu Kano College of Islamic and legal studies in Kano on Thursday escaped death as powerful inferno sparked from the college’s Hall exam is in progress.
It was reportedly said that the fire ignited from Hall’s rooftop while the students are busy writing their exam.
The situation had prompted the students and invigilators in wild confusion and resorted to scampered for safety.
While briefing newsmen, College Provost Professor Balarabe Jakada said he was shocked by the unfortunate incidence.
“God so kind, we are lucky, no death or serious injury is recorded as students runs to avert been trapped in the fire disaster” Professor said.
He added that, the causative reason of the inferno might be a sudden sparked due to possible power fluctuations which emanated from the naked electric cables hanged over the rooftop of the exam hall.
