The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of an additional 3,921 results for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

JAMB spokesman Fabian Benjamin stated that 24,535 candidates would need to retake the exam due to malpractices at certain centres during the initial testing. “The rescheduled candidates are to print their supplementary Examination Notification Slip from Tuesday, 4th June 2024, to ascertain their designated examination centres,” Benjamin said.

This latest release brings the total number of results issued to 1,883,350. The rescheduled examination will take place on Saturday, 22nd June 2024, providing affected candidates with adequate time to prepare.

Benjamin advised the concerned candidates to check their results by sending “RESULT” to 55019 or 66019. He also clarified that those who have been cleared will receive their results, while those rescheduled will be assigned a new date.

It should be recalled that JAMB announced the release of the 2024 UTME results at a conference in Abuja on Monday, April 29. Over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat for the examination. According to JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, only 0.4% scored above 300, while 24% scored 200 or above out of a total score of 400.
